Heart Centered Training focuses on not only the dog, but the human too. Ruby teaches that connection begins with connection to self first, and then extends outwards to the beings we interact with. When we want our dogs to be calm, balanced, and focused, we must model these practices ourselves. Ruby gives actionable skills that help build this heart centered human-dog connection.
About the Trainer

With their degree in Equestrian Science and minor in Psychology, Ruby expanded her knowledge of behavior and training to dogs. Working as a professional pack walker allowed her to work with hundreds of dogs in a pack setting as well as private trainings. Their experiences in the animal field working with countless animals and their humans has led to Ruby's unique and compassionate training style.

Ruby's goal at the end of every session is that the human feels they have a plan of action to practice with their dog and that the dog is fulfilled and has understood what they learned as well. Ruby takes special care to make sure both dog and human don't go over their learning threshold, but instead expand it.
